    Reactivate Account

Hi, before two weeks ago, i i was able to use VATsim sign-in on the BVATC, then something changed and i am getting sign-in error. i checked the VATsim account, it showed i have successful login on Nov 24, 2019. but i flew online for the PRP VFR5 last night. on VATsim of "my remembered sites", Boston Virtual ARTCC is listed, but there is a red X under the "email". when i re-try the VATsim sign-in option on BVATC, it shows my CID, but the "email" and "password" have red X. when i click "confirm", i am getting "error 2" message as well. it sounds like similar issue. please help me resolve this issue. Thanks Rey Lin
  5. In the Regional Circuit, we staff up two of our airports to provide pilots with an opportunity to receive 'gate-to-gate' ATC service for the duration of the event. Pilots are encouraged to fly between the two airports and make the return flight if time allows; however, traffic from other airports is welcome as well. The Regional Circuit always creates an immersive atmosphere with busy frequencies and congested airways between the host airports. This Regional Circuit features Burlington (KBTV) and Boston (KBOS). Local Time: January 7, 2019 8-11pm ET Zulu Time: January 8, 2019 0100-0400z
  6. Excellent, glad it's resolved! No, I've moved back to the Toronto area (although I'm not in Toronto much) and now fly for Air Canada Express on the E175 out of YYZ.
  7. HI Evan. This problem comes from my buddy Roland. Like you I have found the answer by going to the same site you went.....Thanks a lot for getting back to me Are you still flying in BC and same CO or are you the CEO now (compliment)…. Cheers Claude
  8. I haven't heard of / seen this error. Does it happen when you are trying to install, or after the program is installed and while you're trying to launch it? I did a quick Google search and came up with this: http://www1.metacraft.com/VRC/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2248&highlight=appdata. Hopefully that resolves the issue for you. Let me know if you need any help implementing this solution.
  9. Sorry for the hold Mark -- you came in right at the perfect time to get hit with the maybe 20 minutes of holding we had to do all night. Glad you enjoyed the experience. As you'll see from the article I'm writing for the Informer, I thought this year's 60 Hours event was phenomenal. There was really great traffic all weekend, whether it was 1pm or 1am, and of course the FNO was a blast too. Great to see you, and our many member pilots, out there supporting the fun.
  10. Hi For Window 8. Trying to install VATspy It shows error XML document (0,0). Help please Thanks Claude
  11. You guys are simply amazing. It got pretty intense on Friday night (good that I had done the HOLD PRPs)... and it was superb finding so much activity throughout the 60-hrs. I think you even inspired the adjacent Centers to be active! Thanks, as always. BVARTCC rocks. MARK MAYO
  12. Also, the splits can vary depending on the night or event. We'll usually announce what the splits are over ATC chat or through private message.
  13. Hi Paul. The center splits with position ID's, frequency, and boundaries are depicted in the Letter of Agreement between ZBW and ZQM. I'm not sure where to find that on your guys' website (I looked around), but if you message me (not post it here) your email I can get you a copy.

    BOS_CTR positions

Whilst online CZQM_CTR, a number of Bos ctr controllers came online e.g. BOS_H, BOS_W etc. I had no idea who to coordinate with for handoffs. One controller messaged me the appropriate flight levels for the controller positions, but being an idiot, I closed euroscope without making a note of the info. I now find that I can't remember what I was told. Can someone please reply with the necessary? cheers Paul Dean

  16. Now you have something to sound happy about.
  17. Good work! You've been assigned the Saturday 1am-7am shift on Boston Ground.
  18. After surviving the gauntlet with turns in every direction, Mateo Rodriguez (RZ) escaped rather unscathed and has become Boston's newest fully certified Class B Ground controller! RZ smashed clearances, mastered the taxiways, and suffered only minor flesh wounds fighting secondary runway requests. Congrats on your new capabilities, RZ!
  19. Wow, this is uhh...a little late...but thanks so much everyone! Can't wait to spend some time in the dark room :)
  20. FlightSimExpo, North America’s largest flight simulation and aviation conference, takes place on June 12-14, 2020 at Tropicana Las Vegas. In addition to a great show, it’s also the biggest BVA member meet-up of the year. This forum thread has been created as a central place for updates on the event. We'll be posting here when registration opens and as more information becomes available for how BVA members can get involved. Since the show’s inception, BVA members have played an integral role in FlightSimExpo. The conference is managed by BVA members and volunteers. In addition, a select group of our members has volunteered on-site in support of the show. BVA members also represent VATSIM through the VATUSA Display Team, fly and control from the show floor, and hang out for meals and other activities surrounding the event. If you are thinking about joining the community at FlightSimExpo 2020 in Las Vegas, you can book your hotel room now at www.flightsimexpo.com. On the website, you’ll also find information about airfare and ground transportation discounts for attendees. Advance Registration tickets to attend the event go on sale for just $50 later this month. This year, FlightSimExpo will be selecting individuals to volunteer in support of the conference. In past years, volunteers have managed on-site registration, helped with on-site logistics, and provided assistance to attendees of the show. A call for volunteers will be shared within the community as the event approaches. For more information about the event, visit www.flightsimexpo.com.
  21. Thank you Clif. I want to also thank everyone that I have come in contact with with BVARTCC over the years. My life wouldn't be as rich as it is if it wasn't for all of you!! This is a very close community of people that I can actually call friends!! Be safe everyone. Love you all.
  22. Thank you Clif, and the rest of the administration and membership that makes this community the truly incredible place it is. I am extremely grateful to every one of our members, pilots and controllers, for the positive, friendly, and knowledgeable attitudes that they bring to the table. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
