New Staff Members / Changes

Recommended Posts

Folks,

I’d like to take this time to announce a few staff changes in Boston.

Due to other commitments, Ross Carlson (CN) is stepping down from the TA and instructor roles here at Boston. I’d like to thank him for all his work both as an instructor here, and as the recent TA. He’s not disappearing, and will still be found plugged in coming up with new ideas for future toys for us to play with. When you see Ross plugged in, be sure to give him a waggle of the wings and a 7600 squawk, or keep the MIT tight.

Stepping into the TA role, once he sobers up from the traditional Irish breakfast, is Paul Byrne (PB). PB has been quite busy as the DATM working with Ross on updating SOP’s, and as a mentor does a lot of training. He will be taking over the administrative role as TA immediately. Please give him some time to get into his new role. He’ll need a few days to figure out the hex keyboard that Ross left behind.

In addition, I’d like to introduce a new member to the instructing staff at ZBW. Mike Catalfamo (CO) is now an instructor here at Boston. This new promotion comes with a 15% pay raise, access to the instructor’s coffee pot, a free supply of Red Bull, and instruction on the secret handshake.

Please join me in thanking Ross for all his work, as well as welcoming the new members to the staff.
