Welcome to Bradley Bash 2020! This year, along with our staff-up of KBDL, KORH, KHFD, KBAF, and KCEF, BVA members who fly into the event will be eligible to win a copy of LatinVFR’s newly-released KBDL scenery. 

 

Staffing starts at 7pm ET and will run through 11pm (2300-0300Z).

 

If you are a BVA member: you already have access to a 10% off coupon for LatinVFR’s newly-released scenery for Prepar3D v4 or v5. Click here and login for instructions on how to claim the discount. By flying into the event and following the instructions below, you can win a free copy of either KBDL or, if you’ve already bought it, any other LatinVFR product for P3D. 

If you are not a BVA member: by flying into any of the staffed airports on the VATSIM network during the event, you’re eligible to enter a draw for a free LatinVFR product (either KBDL or, if you already own it, another of their scenery products). Plus, by entering the draw for the free product, you’ll automatically receive a discount code to save 10% on a purchase of LatinVFR’s KBDL. 

 

Contest Information & Rules:

 

All pilots who choose to participate in this competition agree to abide by the rules below. The competition rules may be modified for clarity or other reasons without prior notification to participants. Please refer to this page for any updates. These rules are current as of September 4, 2020. The Events Coordinator shall have final say in all questions or disputes regarding this competition, and will be responsible for determining the winners.

 

1. Event Duration: The contest and event starts at 7:00pm ET on Saturday, October 17 and ends at 11:00pm ET (2300z to 0300z).

 

2. How to Enter:

    
    a. Land at a Tower-controlled Y90 Airport (KBDL, KORH, KHFD, KBAF, KCEF) within the Event Duration described above.

    b. By 8am ET (1200z) on October 18, email [email protected] with the following information: 

1. Email subject line formatted as: Bradley Bash Contest Entry - [Your VATSIM CID]
2. Name used while connected to the network 
3. VATSIM CID
4. Flight Callsign
5. Departure Airport Code
6. Arrival Time

3. Notification of Winners and dissemination of Discount Codes:

1. By entering the contest and providing your email address to [email protected], you consent to Boston Virtual ARTCC emailing you with regard to the contest and prize distribution.
2. Winners will be notified at the email address provided within 14 days of the end of the competition. Winners must respond to their prize notification email within 48 hours to confirm their claim to a prize. Winners who do not respond within 48 hours will lose their claim to a prize.

4. Number of Entries: One entry is permitted per person. Additional landings will not change your odds of winning. For shared aircraft, both pilots may simultaneously enter the contest provided they each email [email protected] with the required information.

 

5. Disqualification: Pilots who are disqualified will not be allowed to re-enter the competition. The Events Coordinator will have the final say in any disputes regarding pilot disqualification. A pilot may be disqualified from the competition for:

1. Failure to comply with VATSIM COC.
2. Refusal to comply with ATC instructions.
3. Attempting to cheat or circumvent the competition rules.
4. Providing false/misleading information to the event officials.
5. Attempting to enter the contest more than once.
