Re-Issue Date: March 13, 2015 Location: Ohio State University Airport Beginning Date and Time: March 14, 2015 at 1300 EST Ending Date and Time: March 14, 2015 at 1700 EST Reason for NOTAM: Temporary Flight Restrictions for high volume traffic during landing competition event Type: Airshow Affected Area(s): Area A Airspace Definition: Center: On the Appleton VORTAC (APE) 265 degree radial at 22.7 nautical miles (Latitude N40°4.79', Longitude W83°4.55') Radius: 5 nautical miles' Altitude: From the surface to 2500ft MSL Effective Date(s) From March 14, 2015 at 1300 EST To March 14, 2015 at 1700 EST Area B Airspace Definition: Center: On the Appleton VORTAC (APE) 265 degree radial at 22.7 nautical miles (Latitude N40°4.79', Longitude W83°4.55') Radius: 10 nautical miles Altitude: From 2500ft MSL to 5000ft MSL Effective Dates(s) From March 14, 2015 at 1300 EST To March 14, 2015 at 1700 EST Operating Restrictions and Requirements: No pilots may operate an aircraft in the areas covered by this NOTAM (except as described). All aircraft operating in the vicinity of Ohio State University Airport shall establish and maintain two way radio communications with air traffic control, and continuously transmit an assigned transponder code. The TFR is in support of the virtual landing competition, and to protect aircraft that will be operating under special flight rules. Workload permitting, Air Traffic Control may authorize non-competitor aircraft to transit, depart, or arrive within the areas covered by this NOTAM.
