Guest george bruton Share Posted February 17, 2014 Very excited about the upcoming challenge event. Question for the A team... Challenge level is 2/4 Moderate. What type of weather should be be expecting? down to mins? or will it just be some IFR with wind/rain etc.... I would love to see it like the ACK/BOS event when everyone was having issues getting into ACK. Link to comment
Evan Reiter Share Posted February 18, 2014 It will be intense...exactly how intense depends on how I'm feeling during the day of the event but you can assume snow, ice, and maybe even some freezing rain will keep the anti-ice equipment busy! Guest Nathan Snell Share Posted February 23, 2014 I am wanting to participate in todays challenge and am concerned about how intense you are going to be feeling. I want to use a helicopter in todays challenge so if it is too intense I may not be able to go. Let me know if it will be feasible to take my air frame out for a ride today. Thanks Link to comment
