I am happy to report that Don Desfosse (DO) has agreed to come back on the ZBW instructor staff to help our new cadre of controllers who are quickly coming up the ranks. DO's efforts will be greatly appreciated as he has an excellent record of helping to train to the highest levels here at ZBW.. Thank you very much DO !!

Congratulations to Camden (Cam) Bruno (BN) for passing his full A90 approach cert this afternoon. He was able to outperform the simulator operator in many respects to make sure all of the aircraft got safely onto the approach at KBOS. A very nice job, well done !!

Congratulation to Michael Bertolini (BI) for being selected by the ZBW staff as Mentor in our training group. This is a very important role at the ARTCC as new, well trained controllers are the lifeblood of the facility. Welcome aboard BI and thank you for volunteering your services.

Congratulations to Michael Bertolini (BI) for passing his full A90 cert on the network the other night. Mike has been working hard to complete his certs at ZBW since his transfer back into the ARTCC and this is another good step along the way.

And a new member of this ELITE group. Congratulations to Erik Partridge (PG) for volunteering to become our newest Mentor !!

Excellent HA.. Congratulations and welcome to (fully) on board.. You deserve it !!

Congratulations to Erik Partridge (PG) for passing his S2 OTS and exams. He is standing at the bottom of the stairs to the tower cab and taking a big breath before climbing into this (literally) lofty position..Although he thinks hes going to jump right into position when he gets there, he doesn't know that (as DO said) he needs to clean the CAN, then man the CAB... Congratulations PG and Welcome Aboard..

Congratulations to Camden Bruno (BN) and Philip Katz (KZ) for earning their full KBOS certs in the past two days. BN did a great job on Tower taking care of high volume arrivals and departures on two runways simoultaneously while KZ handled a lot of SWEATBOX IFR and VFR handoffs from CTR into KBOS on A90. Both students have been moving up in the positions rapidly and doing a great job. Keep it up !!

Congratulation to Wayne St John (SJ) and Michael Dugan (DA) for being selected by the ZBW staff as Mentors in our training group. This is a very important role at the ARTCC as new, well trained controllers are the lifeblood of the facility. We welcome you both aboard and thank you for volunteering your services.

Congratulation to Michael Dugan (DA) for earning his full CTR cert while working the NY FNO last night. Given the length and volume of traffic, the situations that needed to be dealt with AND the fact that Mike did not know this was an event until it was over, he did a good job of keeping everyone safe and directed toward their destination (now if he could just find that B58 that was wondering around on text) Congratulations Mike

Congratulation to Philip Katz (KZ) and Matt McGill (ML) for being selected by the ZBW staff as Mentors in our training group. This is a very important role at the ARTCC as new, well trained controllers are the lifeblood of the facility. We welcome you both aboard and thank you for volunteering your services.

Lets all give it up for our latest RADAR controller. Philip Katz (KZ) passed his Class C APP OTS today all the way from Taiwan. He did a great job of getting all of the pesky pilots to their destinations without hurting anybody. We welcome you to the TRACON KZ, now find a seat and turn on the scopes...!!!
-
Congratulations to Erik Partridge (PG) for passing his Ground / Delivery OTS at KPWM this week. PG was able to figure out and correct all those pesky RNAV and RV departure procedures that VATSIM pilots file and also get those same pilots to the runway for takeoff without breaking any virtual tin. Congratulations and Welcome Aboard...

One good cert deserves another!
Mike Willey replied to Francis Dube's topic in Recognizing Excellence
A good afternoon for Certing.. Congratulations gents!! -
Congratulations to Phillip Katz (KZ) for passing his Boston Tower OTS today. Now its time to really get some use out of his college education and find a way to clean up this mess in the Tower Cab. This place has been a mess since DO strewed those bottles of hair tonic (I think he was drinking that stuff) around here and nobody has ever been able to get it off all of the desks and chairs. Your job, Mr Katz is to figure out what chemical mixture might be able to cut this stuff.. It is really bad. Welcome and Congratulations.....
