  1. Congratulations on the appointment, Josh! Welcome back to the A-Team.
  2. Thank you all for the kind words. I want to thank everyone on the A-Team for the honor of having worked with you, and all the fine folks of BVA for allowing me to work for you. BVA is an incredible organization; I've met some of my best friends through this community, and have enjoyed almost every second of my time here. I hope to remain an active controller and pilot on the network, but needed to step back from this role to focus on my career and real world responsibilities. I'm sure that BVA will continue to deliver the best community on the network despite my corporate chocolate cake contributions!
  3. Thank you Clif, and the rest of the administration and membership that makes this community the truly incredible place it is. I am extremely grateful to every one of our members, pilots and controllers, for the positive, friendly, and knowledgeable attitudes that they bring to the table. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
  4. Our fReQuently progressing Social Media Manager, Mr. Austin Cirulli (RQ) has passed his A90 OTS! As the newest fully-certified S3 on our staff, RQ will begin helping out in the dark room in future events. Everyone please join me in congratulating him on his new rating! Keep up the good work RQ, we'll see ya at the center!
  5. Congratulations everyone! Well deserved on all fronts. Welcome to the team!
  6. Congrats, PI! I’ll see you en route to en-route!
  7. No, it's not on the arrival, but who doesn't like a little bit of surprise! Ladies and gentlemen of BVA, please join me in congratulating Sean Doyle (DY) on passing his Advanced Approach OTS, certifying him to control the Boston TRACON during peak times! DY's been working quite hard to complete this rating and joins an extensive list of controllers to have passed one of the highest certifications in the ARTCC within the past months. Look out for DY on the scopes for some of our upcoming events in the spring! Congratulations Sean!

  10. Team, I am happy to announce that yet again we've had a controller certified for the on-peak A90 Boston TRACON certification! Please join me in congratulating Josh Nunn (NU) on passing his A90 OTS and gaining full certification for one of the hardest positions in the ARTCC! Josh did a great job and only broke two airplanes kept everyone separated and got them in to Boston safely. Congrats Josh, keep up the good work!
  11. If you are a fan of wintry holidays (or even if you aren't), come fly into the Northeast during our combined FNO, featuring New York LaGuardia (LGA), Boston Logan (BOS), and all three of the Washington Metro airports (IAD, DCA, & BWI)! TMU will be active and a briefing will be posted later.
