  1. Congratulations to Sam Bolvin (BI) for passing his Class C Approach (S3) training! He was so excited that he even got some good time on the network immediately after! Keep doing us proud, BI!
  2. What happens when Josh uses Google Translate... Felicidades!
  3. Congratulations to Bradley Clinton (CT) for passing his Class B Ground OTS today! He threw around the airplanes as if he owned the place and forced them to follow his clearances. With only minor scrapes and bruises, the airplanes were able to escape and make it to the sky. Well earned, and don't make the BOS ship list too heavily.
  4. Congrats to RI for completing his Class B Approach Full Certification! He was able to navigate the imminent destruction of his airspace and found a way to survive. He commanded his airspace, made most of the planes go the right way, and, most importantly, did not wake up the conflict ogres. Keep up the good work! May the Vector Gods protect your localizers.
  5. Congratulations to Jero Wang (WG) for passing his Class B Ground OTS! After horsing around the first few attempts, he saddled up and dominated the rodeo. After tussling with all those aluminum cowboys, he finally showed them who's Sheriff. Congrats, WG, and don't let your proficiency run away into the sunset.
  6. Congrats to Corey Miller (CY) for passing his S2 (Class C Tower) OTS! He managed all his airplanes and checked his flight strips twice. He knew which ones were naughty nice. Most importantly, he kept everyone separated, so nobody ended up with a red nose. Great work, and enjoy the PSM nostalgia!
  7. After surviving the gauntlet with turns in every direction, Mateo Rodriguez (RZ) escaped rather unscathed and has become Boston's newest fully certified Class B Ground controller! RZ smashed clearances, mastered the taxiways, and suffered only minor flesh wounds fighting secondary runway requests. Congrats on your new capabilities, RZ!
  8. Thank you, Clif, for everything you do for us. I appreciate that we can share a hotel room without the worry of catching Nunnitis. Thanks to everyone here for creating a welcoming, fun, and caring community. Without you all, there is no way I would be where I am now. Happy Thanksgiving!
  9. It's difficult to come up with a pun for this one without in-depth Polish lessons from PI, so let's just focus on congratulating Eli Schwartz (SZ) for earning his Class C Approach certification and S3 rating! Eli pushed through the rush of PVD and the 7th level of Wiggins, only suffering mere flesh wounds along the way. Good job in training, and see you in the dark room. May the Vector Gods protect your localizers.
  10. Congratulations to Collin Koldoff for achieving his full certification for Class B Tower! KF did a good job preparing for training and was ready to prove and improve himself. He didn't make me mad and regretful, so I guess that's good enough for a pass. Keep up the good work!
  11. Contrary to popular belief, not everything is as easy as pie, but our PI made it look easy today. Congratulations to PI for completing his Center certification! He was able to weather the storm as the entirety of ZBW was being flooded with rain and aircraft. PI was able to push through the madness and manage his aircraft well while also keeping his cool and a friendly attitude. The trick now will be to keep the good attitude, while the treat will be for others to enjoy. PI, you will be constantly challenged, and Center requires high proficiency and knowledge to provide an enjoyable experience for pilots on the network and your fellow controllers. Be humble and admit your mistakes while also never giving up. Continue to critique yourself, and keep challenging yourself to do better every session. Remember to stay positive as much as possible, and don't be shy to ask for help when you're overwhelmed or feel you will be close to it. Keep up the good work, and congratulations! As always. may the Vector Gods protect your localizers.
  12. He better not. I taught him better than that. Good job, dude!
  13. Sorry for being late... Congrats to Chris Beckett (BK) for earning his Class B Ground Full Certification recently! He was able to make his way through the gauntlet, and now he's ready to .route every aircraft that signs on. Good luck. We're all counting on you.
