  1. MR, thank you for your time at BVA. As a mentor, fellow controller, and as a friend, you've been one of the people who's helped me grow into this amazing community. You leave big shoes to be filled, and will be missed. Clif, you've done a fantastic job as EC, and you'll be a great fit in the DATM role. I look forward to seeing what comes from the BVA team now, and I'm sure that you'll be able to step right in and continue this ARTCC's trend of realistic, immersive and professional ATC. 14. Thank you so much everybody. The amount of support and knowledge I've gained through my time here is amazing, I cannot thank the training staff, pilots and other controllers here enough for their hard work. It's been amazing working with everyone, I'm so lucky to be a part of this community, and I cannot wait for the future! Edit: To mark the occasion, I have finally uploaded an avatar on the forums! I guess I've been so busy controlling that I haven't uploaded one....for a year...thanks again for the kind words everyone!
  15. Nice job MX! Can't wait to work with you, keep up the great work
  16. Everyone, please join me in congratulating Alvaro Santiago (SG) for passing his Class C GND OTS and being promoted to S1. SG did a great job, spinning clearances and getting aircraft on their way. SG becomes the latest controller certed to work on the network, and I look forward to working with him and seeing where he can go. Congrats Alvaro!
  17. Congrats ML! Keep up the good work, looking forward to working with you on the network
  18. Wow that was creative, I gotta step up my game. Congrats SZ! Sounds like you've done a great job, I look forward to working with you on the network!
  19. Everyone, please help me congratulate Ramon van Voorst (VT) in passing his full Boston Tower OTS and receiving the full Class Bravo certification. Ramon did a fantastic job with traffic pointouts in a very busy config, and has done more than enough to earn the full cert. This is the highest a controller can get at the S2 level, and I look forward to seeing Ramon in the dark room in the future. Congrats Ramon!
  20. Congrats DL! Looking forward to working with ya!
  21. Everyone, please join me in congratulating Chris Raabe (RB) on passing his Class C Approach OTS Exam and VATUSA S3 rating! RB handled a very busy Providence TRACON with tons of arrivals, VFR arrivals, Cape Airs, Satellite arrivals and more, and did a fantastic job, with not one conflict alert! Chris did a fantastic job, and I'm excited to see what he can do on the network. Congrats Chris!
  22. Yea I forgot how early we start for eastbound. Same with BN, not a crazy morning guy anyway, don't really wanna get up even earlier to drive over...
  23. Yea Cam that's all I mean, is the Boston area guys getting together for the day. Sean I'll have to see, I can probably help on folding tables, at least one for myself :p
  24. Everyone, In my two live experiences with BVA (Flight Sim Con and Tea Party) I have had a ton of fun and it has been such a pleasure to meet you all. However, as Tea Party drew to a close, myself, as well as others, lamented the fact that we do not have another live event for over eight months, until the next Flight Sim Con. Someone threw around the idea of a live Cross the Pond; it sounds like a lot of fun, but will it actually happen? I want to see what people think. We would need a place, for multiple reasons mine is not an option, so depending on how many people are attending we would need to make sure we had enough electricity, seats near each other and internet that we do not run into problems. As far as food goes we could order from one of countless places, or find another solution. I am around and really would love to see this happen. Anyone who might be around and is interested, please respond and lets get a sort of commentary going!
  25. Everyone, please join me in congratulating Alex Britt (BI) on passing his ground OTS and subsequent VATUSA S1 test and rating. BI's worked extremely hard to get his rating, and I have every confidence that he will continue to pursue excellence on the network. BI successfully cleaned out an extremely busy KPWM, and I can't wait to see what he does on the network. Congrats Alex!
